A beefsteak or beef tomato is one of the largest varieties of cultivated tomatoes, some weighing 450 grs or .99 Lbs. or more, most are large, meaty, red with numerous small seed compartments distributed throughout the fruit. Popular for sandwich making, there are another applications requiring a large tomato to be eaten raw.
